Ok, it's not complete, but given the amount of time it will probably take me, as I'm using paint as I don't have photoshop, does this look like a reasonable standard?

Well, to be honest I think you'll have a lot of difficulty getting it to look of high quality using only Paint. It sounds like it could be extremely time-consuming as well. On the other hand, I'm no artist so I could easily be wrong :P

I suggest you just look through the entries posted here and on gwonline and judge on your own whether or not you think you'll have a fair chance of beating them using only Paint.

Don't bother with Paint, it's a waste of time. Instead try openCanvas 1.1, which is free to download and use and it can be used to create professional-level colouring.

Well, this is my entry. It's my first ever colouring on computer, I used The GIMP, it was interesting, I quite enjoyed it actually.

Anyway, it's a bit rough in places, but I don't think it turned out too badly.

Scaling down really killed it, click the thumbnail for the full image.

I might adjust it a bit yet, so don't take it as final. Not 100% happy with the cloud effect...

EDIT: Here's my altered entry. I think this one is final. I'm going for an "unfinished painting" look... Once again, click the thumbnail for the full one.

Just a reminder there's only 3 days left of the contest!

The contest will end on this Thursday just before the release of GW:EN. Specifically, that means once Friday starts GMT-12 then the contest has officially ended. So, while you are waiting for GW:EN to start you can go ahead and make an entry for my contest! (remember there's also the handpuppet part of the contest you can submit an entry for)

I'll announce the winners within 2 days after the contest has ended, and I'll give out the prizes as soon as the winners choose what prize they want and as soon as I see them ingame.
